My family has been in Monroe since the early 1900’s and I am proud to be of service to my hometown!

I was first elected to the Monroe City Council in 2019, and re-elected in 2023. Before that I served on the Planning Commission and Economic Development Advisory Board for a couple years.

While on Council, I have been on all of our sub-Committees and chaired both the P3 (Parks, Public Works, & Planning) and the Legislative Affairs Committees.

Around the community I have been active in the Lions Club, Monroe Community Senior Center Board, Rotary, Evergreen Health Foundation Board, and my church.

As a business owner, I have experience in what it takes to manage a budget and how to excel in customer service. In my private time I enjoy locally roasted coffee and a good book, or seeing the sights of our beautiful outdoors on 2 or 4 wheels.

I appreciate how accessible our city government is, and I strive to be available for my fellow Monrovians, whether that means chatting with someone at the grocery store, or talking while on a walk at our great parks. We are here to help.  I encourage everyone to come to a City Council meeting at least once a year!  Let us hear from you.
